Data Mining-Based Stock And Investment Assistance Decision Support System

The stock analysis develops so slowly that it cannot match the high speed of the stock market development. To adapt to the need of the stock market, intelligent analysis become main means to change the bad situation of stock analysis.In the paper Decision Support System (DSS) is introduced to stock analysis. The paper deeply researches the Data Mining and how to apply it in the stock analysis.First, the paper introduces the background,definition and architecture of traditional DSS and the development of DSS as well as data warehouse,data mining. Pointing out that Data Mining's application in stock analysis is reasonable and urgent. The paper thinks it necessary to build a DSS and data warehouse for stock analysis.Second, the paper analyzes the present research situation of Data Mining, the features of Data Mining and stock analysis. It is very difficult to forecast the trend of stock. At the same time,this paper analyzes the features of stock data, and builds a mining model which is fit to stock mining.Finally, we build a stock analysis system――StockLogic System that is the result of our research. This system is composed with function units and flexible interfaces. StockLogic System can provide data mining and choose stock by graphic interface. we demonstrate the process of data mining with stocks of Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
