An Internet Based Interactive Accumulative WebTRIZ System

This paper starts from the studying of TRIZ's basic principle, its systemstructure, analyzing utilities, and the work flow of problem solving. It points out thatin the face of the fast evolution of the Internet and information technology, thetraditional TRIZ system has its own disadvantages, and in order to redeem thesedisadvantages, a supplemental system, based on the Internet technology, affordableto the public, suitable for Chinese users, capable for tracking user's innovationactivities, should be developed, to provide a low-cost, easy-using, exoteric,interactive, accumulative computer-aided innovation (CAI) platform. Such a systemwould be of profound significance to the development of technical innovation of ourcountry.The WebTRIZ system (as proposed in this paper) are constructed on the basisof TRIZ principles, computer science, and network technology. It contains 4modules, including traditional TRIZ analyzing, information searching, informationgathering, and interative feedback. It helps the user to construct searching key wordsusing TRIZ conflict matrix, search the Internet and track the searching activities,record user feedbacks and accumulate innovation database, as well as using theaccumulated database to provide valuable advisory information on specificinnovation subject.The originality of the WebTRIZ system is that it turns the innovation wisdomamong the mass into a reusable resource through interactive feedbacks via theInternet, and provide valuable advisory information on innovation, and hencebecomes a complementary innovation system to the troditional TRIZ system.
