A Research On The MIE Based On The DICOM Standards And Its Application In Enterprises

One of the most important aspects of building up a medical information system is to realize the information sharing intra-hospital and service to tele-medical. The key point of building up the information system and make it into practices successfully is to do a better solution on the contradiction between the large amounts of medical image information data and the limited bandwidth of information transferring lines. This thesis, entitled "A research on the MIE based on the DICOM standards and its application in enterprises", combined the basic theory and method with the practices in enterprises concerning the computer internet and modern communication engineering. On the basis of analyzing the internet and DICOM guiding agreements, a solution model on MRI medical image sharing entity under the condition of DICOM was proposed. A testing programme was also put forward on the above solution model. The enlarged application and some further analyses were made on the typical problems when it is applied. Therefore, this research result has a general guidance and application significances in the information building of related fields in China. This thesis firstly analyzed the compatibility between DICOM and OSI in models. Secondly, this thesis proposed a solution model on MRI medical image sharing entity under the condition of DICOM. Thirdly, it put forward a testing programme on the DICOM medical image quality and made it into specific application on the basis of extending the application of MRI model, which examined the extending application of this research result from the point of practice. At last part of this thesis, a further discussion and analysis were made on the opening of this research by following the newest trends of medical information, which solved the key problems that had limited the development of hospital information system for a long time completely and systematically.
