With the development of the globalization of Information Technology(IT), the manager of the hospital must create a Hospital Information System to keep up with the times. The chief goal of Hospital Information System (HIS) is assist in the administration and management of a hospital. If the HIS is constructed in a hospital, it will lighten the the employees' workload, aid in the management of hospital, and help the manager to make favorable decisions, Therefore, the hospital will run more smoothly and efficiently, and benefit both socially and economically. The HIS will be the foundation of the modernization of this hospital. It is an essential measure to heighten the efficiency of work and management.The paper is a study of the management of the hospital's medical equipment, which is a crucial section of HIS. The following are design and development of building the information management system of the hospital medical equipment.· Make sure the key technology of requirement of the information management system of the hospital medical equipment,and describe it.· Analyze the requirement of the information management system of the hospital medical equipment: submit the goal of design, the requirement of function of system, the requirement of capability, and the allocation of system.· Design the information management system of the hospital medical equipment, include the design of datadase, the design of subsystem of user and manager.· Realize the information management system of the hospital medical equipment. This system is made up of five modules: equipment acquirement unit, equipment management unit, equipment query unit, assistant data management, and system-reset unit. Its purpose is to realize to register, query, management, andanalyze the status of the medical equipment. It will decome a very powerful,user-friendly, and practical system. This paper includes a flow chart, model, and figure of this system in practice. This system can also be easily maintained and updated.The results of the initial tests of this system are as follows: First, most of this system's functions were carried out, and satisfied the need for a better management system; second, it increased the proficiency and speed of work; and finally, the Client Services Model of this system allows for easy operation, maintenance and learning.
