Developing Electronic government affairs and Decision Support System (DSS) are the requirements in administrative system reform, which can greatly improve the scientificity and validity in public policy constitution. At the same time, population information is the main gist for the National policy constitution. Its accuracy and integrality are extremely vital to accurate decision making. Design and develop a provincial population basic information sharing platform and assistant decision making system will offer good gist of reference for governments at all levelsThis paper dissertate data warehouse, OLAP analysis processing and related technology which are used in assistant decision-making support system, and also proceeded analysis in depth on pertinence. According to the requirements in Hunan Population Information System, the thesis stressed on discussing technology scheme of the Provincial Population Basic Information Sharing Platform design work, construction object, and overall framework of the system.
