Research And Application Of Advanced Development Technology On I-DEAS

Through the deep research of advanced development on I-DEAS software, Open Architecture structure and the theory of development technology was analysised. The related development technology based on I-DEAS was explored by using the developing environment of I-DEAS, and a method that adapt to advanced user who would develop I-DEAS' functions was put forward. The key technology of I-DEAS' advanced development was researched, the question of connecting between user application and I-DEAS session, searching 3D model information, reading and uqdating design parameters, dealing with 2D drawing was soluted.Aiming at I-DEAS' feature and the require of 3D models' standarize and series design, the customized tools' developing process based on I-DEAS was researched. Designing and debugging code was finished, and the user application could run successful under the I-DEAS 10.0. The developing platform was I-DEAS 10.0, the developing tools were OPEN I-DEAS, VC++, Macro, etc.Two prototype systems were developed through analysising user application's design goal, system functions, key technology and program coding, which validated the user application's effect.
