System Rearch Of Open IMS-Based Service Capability

With the continuous development of Internet technology, telecom operators,who want to get rid of the role of IP pipe provider,put forward the concept of opening service capabilities, and the IMS,as a manageable and controllale networkjust to meet the demands of telecom operators.IMS network, which absorbs and learns from the Internet's open model,has a natural advantage of the opening service capabilities.Whether the amount of protocol adaptation, or the ability to control the service,IMS is superior to the traditional network, or even better than the softswitch network. All domestic telecom operators are now actively working on IMS network construction and experimental and the whole network deployment can be expected to happen soon. Learn from the Internet openness and sharing ideas and advanced technology, this paper conducted the study of system architecture of open IMS-based service capabilities and open technology research, proposed the solution of openning telecommunication network service capabilities.With the China Mobile project which author participated in, First,this paper studied the openning telecommunication service capabilities status and IMS open service capabilities,and internet service status, analyzed and compared the key technology of telecom and internet, drew the conclusion that IMS is the best way to open telecom service capabilities, proposed converged architecture for openning IMS-based service capabilities, by deploying open platform to open the IMS's service capabilities,the existing network's MMS, SMS and other telecommunications capabilities to the internet in the manner of open API.Second, this paper proposed some different solutions and selected the best. And last, according to the optimal solution,designed and completed open platform, the platform provides REST-style API for user to develop application and SOAP-style API for IMS and telecom network,including the interface parameters, call methods, response and application example, also described the platform modules and interfaces.
