Virtual Camera Design Based On Symbian System

With the development of electronic and intelligent handsets' popularization and the application scope unceasing expansion and the ability of calculating increasing, people want to achieve more new requests, not only having the base function, but also having some newer functions for business and internet, such as taking it as a web camera and PC carries on the connection through the Bluetooth, realizing the web camera's function. But how to achieve this is not an easy case, it needs to do a lot of development to achieving data translating between several systems.How to make a decision which platform we develop at? As we see, mobile operating system may be hundred schools of thought contend. But we choose Symbian OS which have the most marketing appropriation to be the development system. From the official data we get from Symbian company, Symbian OS have 20% of intelligent handsets in the country, lots people think that year 2006 will be the intelligent handsets' year and Symbian OS is the best platform .In the other way Bluetooth is more and more using in the mobile-terminal, and Bluetooth equipments is increasing from year 2003 till now,so translating video data base on Bluetooth will have a good market.And for the PC OS we choose the most universal WindowsXP system, because it has a lot of API and software developping kit to developer which also will save a lot of time in develop and have the most users in the world.Not only finishing the system design, but also coding most modules and achieving the base ruction of the system, and doing a lot of test such as having translating distance test, reliable test and so on .The test result is fit for the design requirement.
