The Design And Implement Of A Medical Vector Surveillance Expert System Based On Rough Set Theory

Expert system is one of the most active and comprehensive application fields of artificial intelligence. It uses the relevant human experts' knowledge registered in computer to provide expert quality advice, diagnoses and recommendations, which normally would require a specialized human expert. As a new soft computing method, rough set theory needs no prior knowledge and is widely used in information processing under uncertain situation, which is a new focus of the artificial intelligence. Therefore, it is of great significance to apply rough set theory to the design and development of expert systems.The paper bases upon on the actual requirements of an Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau on medical vector surveillance. And it designs and implements a frontier ports medical vector surveillance expert system based on rough set, which belongs to educational diagnostic expert system.It is the core problem of an expert system to acquire the knowledge and design the reasoning mechanism. In the process of knowledge acquirement, the paper makes use of the rough set on the idea of attribute reduction, improves the attribute reduction algorithm, designs an essentiality operator based on algebra system and at last obtains a reduction using the operator as heuristic information and relative core as terminate condition. At the same time, to make sure of the consistency and integrality of the knowledge base, the paper designs a rule detection and precision algorithm, and simplifies the rule tables based on the attribute reduction; At designing of reasoning mechanism, the paper designs a select-matching algorithm and a final result algorithm in DRAM adopting forward reasoning and backward reasoning, and analyzes the possible pattern matching examples in the running system and gives the corresponding solutions.The expert system solves a problem of medical vector surveillance, improves the efficiency and benefits to improve the quality of employees. The building process of the system has practical reference significance to building other educational diagnostic expert system.
