It's studied the key technique of MCU in Real-time Transport. Our work is as follows:1. It's studied the characteristic of multimedia information's Real-time Transport.2. Internet Protocol about Flow-Media are studied, It's proposed that multicast and RTP/RTCP technique are good for some questions in Real-time Transport of multimedia information, for example, the lack of bandwidth and the Real-time Transport.3. It's researched coding technique of video in stress. Including the system of MPEG and H.26X. As the new video coding standard, H.264 is better than the tradition. For example, lower code rate and higher quality of video. So it must be the focus of video technique in future. In the paper, we introduce the coding process and characteristic of H.264, analysis it's quantity of operation. As the base of study, the arithmetic is proposed which can improve H.264's coding rate.4. Finally the function of MCU are realized partly using the above technique, including working process of the key parts MC, the layer adjustable video coding project in the video MP, and a better scheme of audio mixing in the audio MP. In order to resolve the lack of bandwidth and the Real-time Transport in effect, we propose TCP/UDP mixed transfer mechanism.
