Research Of Microwave Power Amplifier

The microwave power amplifier is widerly applied in the system of the radar,the communication,the navigation,the earth working station of satellite,and the electronic countermeasure.It is important for amplifier to play a key role in outputing a certanin power at a point of the frequency or within a range of frequency. The microwave transistor power amplifier function under the circumsitances of large signal ,so its method of designing and the tansistor used is different from these of microwave amplifier working in the state of small signal, which is numerously difficulty with a variety of traits,as a result the research of microwave power amplifier is consistently made into consideration by many researchers.Several questions of theory ,which we are faced with in common in designing the microwave amplifier ,is illuminated.Meanwhile,the theory of designing microwave power amplifier is reserached in detal.The main content of the paper is followed: On the one hand , the parameters of the model of FET microwave amplifier transistor is matched to a result through the matching function of the measured datas provided by the software Advanced Design System2002 according to the small signal s parameters measured and static Ⅰ-Ⅴ curves.Secondly,several important designing methods about microwave power amplifiers is specified comprehensively,and the microwave power amplifier is pratically designed through the method of the small signal s parameters and the nonlinear designing method,and the physical power microwave amplifier is manufactured after the simulition optimization of software Advanced Design System2002,ultimately adjusted and measured.All in all,this paper is a reference to others who design microwave power amplifier .
