IPM (Intelligent Power Module) is a kind of advanced integrated device, which is composed of high-speed and low-power IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor) chips, optimized gate drivers and protect circuits.Compared with other power modules, IPM can simplify reduce the size of hard circuits, increase its reliability and shorten developping period.Based on these advantages, IPM has been applied to frequency conversion domain.The IPM capability parameters are the main indexs to measure the capability of frequency conversion of the production. Therefore, it has advantages to test its capability parameters. But because the categories of the parameters which need to be tested are numerous, and some of which are hard to be calculate. Therefore, the related researches on the test of the IPM are limited. We study the test of main parameters of IPM, referring to national technical supervisory office 《a method of test Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor》 .We should study many subjects and fields relating to this, which is a great challenge to us.The main work of the dissertation are summarized as follows:Firstly, we introduced the technique of frequency conversion and its theories on IPM; after analysised several arithmetics of control signal source, we choose symmetry rule sampling produce SPWM which is the base of both the real-time control and advantage to realize the DSP, and then analysised the influence of several parameters ( for example: modulate wave frequency carrier wave frequency modulate ratio) of SPWM wave's harmonic for choose best source for control signal and to minimize harmonic i.e. favor of real-time detecting output voltage and current etc.Secondly, We have introduced the configuration and characteristic of DSP, using TMS320F240 gate to make SPWM which drives IPM, and also adopted a real -time SPWM calculational methods used a combination of lookup-table and its interpolation based on DSP, the contradiction between on-the-line changes SPWM frequency and memory can be overcomed in this way.The interface and protect circuit of design between TMS320F240 and IPM was explained in detail.Thirdly,data sampling system was well explained as one of the particular important parts in this paper, in the system we introduce three phase of voltage, current and temperature etc.of IPM which was sampled by utilizing A/D conversionconversion in DSP as far as sampled switch characteristic, we adopted exceed high speed chip of AC 1030.Then, designed the test system of IPM and discussed the test of main parameters of IPM.Finaly, We simply introduced how to improve and persist the research of test system.There are mainly four directions: different control signal sources different testing way research on system combining with motor's characteristic improvement of test system's real-time and speed.
