Research Of The Fixed Assets Management System Of College Based On Workflow

Along with the rapid development of our country's higher education, the scale of colleges becomes larger and large. Especially in recent years many colleges unite with others and such several reforms as the logistics, financial affairs, personnel affairs, etc inside the university are deepened constantly, all these put forward new demands to fixed assets management of colleges. Although the majority of colleges' fixed asset management all realized certain degree infomationizatio, the majority of systems' realization technology falls behind and in reality application more or less problems exist, such as low data sharing, poor system security and inconvenient business transaction etc. Using modern information technology to further realize the standardization, rationalization and automatization of fixed assets management become necessary and essential.Workflow is a new technology of developing rapidly. Its main characteristic is to realize business management automatic or semiautomatic with the thought of flows. As the development of workflow technology, workflow has been applied in the field of OA extensively. At the meantime it is applied in the field of industry and manufacturing gradually. The daily businesses of university's fixed assets management mainly include fixed assets' checking, card-building, account-building, translating and scrapping etc. These work have relatively fixed procedure and regulation, so they accord with the characteristic of workflow. We can use workflow to model the business of fixed assets management and drive business execution through workflow engine, besides monitor business execution status at real-time to achieve the goal of improving efficiency.This paper researched the current developing situation, the main problem of existing and the developed trends of workflow deeply. This paper also analyzed the current situation of colleges' fixed asset management and the existence prominent question and proposed colleges' fixed asset management system based on workflow. On the base of analyzing the detailed business process of colleges' fixed asset management, we supposed the architecture of fixed assets management based on J2EE platform combining with the architecture of workflow management system. Then we researched workflow modeling and provide the design scheme of workflow engine. Using workflow technology into university's fixed assets managementsystem successfully can standardize the process of fixed assets management and improve the efficiency of management effectively.
