In today's information age, with the development of science and the human society, education has already become the foundation of a country, facing the challenge of the knowledge economy and the international competition. It has become the historical mission of education to strengthen the reform of education and cultivate fine talents with creative genius and practice competence. The development of the modern education technology, especially the wide application of the multi-media and the network technology represented by the modern information technology in the field of education, has a profound impact on the teaching pattern, methodology, content, techniques and so on. As the result of the integration of collaborative learning and network technology, the collaborative learning under network is crucial to cultivate students'creativity, the interoperability with learning mates, the thought of finding differences, the critical thinking and the spirit of exploration. Many countries attach great importance to the research and the application of the teaching pattern of collaborative learning in the practice and reform of education.Drawing on the full elaboration of the collaborative learning under the network, this paper first gives a detailed analysis of every stage in collaborative learning under the network by applying modern theory of instructional design. Then, it moves on to the further research and exploration on the application of how to apply the collaborative learning theory in subject teaching by behavior study through the design and the application of case study.Chapter one introduces the background and the current situation of the study of collaborative learning under the network.Chapter two summarizes the meanings, features, elements, models and the theoretical basis of collaborative Learning under network and the basic theory of instructional design and the behavior study.Chapter three expounds the six procedures of the instructional design of collaborative learning under network, which includes the learners'analysis, the task design, and the design of the structure of the study group, the design of the study environment, the design of the learning activities and the evaluation of collaborative learning.The analysis of learners includes the common characteristics, the competence of starting to learn a language, the learning style and the learning motivation.The task design is the starting point and the nucleus of the collaborative learning.
