We draw up the whole reasonable design for the colorimeters and colordifferent meters by the research of function, technical standard and environmentfactors. There is a detailed introduction for the design of the colorimeters andcolor different meters system, where it summarize the interrelated knowledgeabout colorimetric principle , for example, physical basic of the color, measuredprinciple and aberration. It briefly introduces the principle of the electro-opticalsensor;furthermore, we designs the electro-optical part of the apparatus that isdiscussed in this paper, and there is a briefly introduction of color-filtermatching. The hardware and software system are designed by the principle ofthe colorimeters and color different meters, including opto-electricity system,precise machine system and electric circuit system. The circuitry system ofcolor measurement and control includes amplifying circuit system and themicro control electric circuit that taken the PIC18F8627 as core, the electriccircuit system has very high credibility, and designed three kinds of signals forcorresponding exportation electric circuit for its visualization as first of threeexplicit methods is that the results will be displayed in the liquid crystal display,the alternative export of signals can also include that the data would be printedin printers through serial communication, the third alternative routes to export isto link the upper computer with the colorimeters, the date will showed on thecomputer, and that facilitate the next step of the data processing. The software of uppercomputer makes boundary surface of apparatus better, and it can organically putmicrocontroller and upper computer together well, it also makes date processingwell. The upper computer software system makes the interface of theinstrument friendly. This part of the software system for upper computer isactually programmed by the other team, we also need further study of therelevant characteristics.The instrument error analysis shows that the theoretical error is the mainly factorwhich affects the precision of the instrument. A three-layer feed forward Neural Network,which is adopted to correct the error of the instrument system, effectively decrease theerror and largely increase the measurement precision of the instrument.Thus the measuring results meet the designing requirement. The machine has passeduser probation and the product testing by the departments according to the relationalstandard of the state and trade. And the results of the trial and after a user test, adoptedindustry standards for the experimental testing of products. The colorimeters and colordifferent meters are translating into practical products, which will applied to the actualproduction.
