Its real-time sales and planning solution is helpful to companies who take advantage of the information technology investment and a variety of tools from it is available for management personnel to do accurate prediction and planning management based on the existing demand. And more importantly, these solutions enable managers to continuously monitor project performance, and to adjust plan through the use of predicted promotional activities in a timely manner, so that the current plan is getting much closer to the expected sales target.The paper mainly focuses on elaboration and research of standard functions and extensibility of Oracle Demantra system.Oracle Demantra application for sales forecast and plan management is given a brief description at the beginning to describe the significance of the system implementation.Then in following parts in this paper, the entire system frame of Oracle sales forecast and plan management is introducted in details, including Oracle application system structure and the unique unique structure mode of sales forecast and plan management system.Based on the beer production enterprise case, the standard management functions of Oracle sales forecast and plan management system are studied in details in the major part of the paper, including planning and sales data collection way, warning activities, and predicted analysis platform.However, in the study, the standard functions of Oracle sales forecast and plan management system can’t meet the demand of cross-regional supply, homochronous update of sales volume, synchronization and update of predicted data, and multi-regional sales organization architecture. But the corresponding solutions to the demands from Company A are put forward and given detaild introduction in this paper.
