Structured-light method, a kind of active three-dimensional measuring technology, which is the focus on the robot vision in these years, has extensive application in many fields. This paper designs a line-strutted-vision system depending on the practicality of task, and measure the three-dimension sport information for debris. The content of this paper come from the project "The Three-Dimension Sport Information Measure for Debris Based on The Structured-Light Method" which belongs to Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main work is described as follows:(1) The principles and math model of structured-light method are introduced, and a vision system is designed according to the peculiarity of task.(2) Firstly the classical camera calibration method and the camera model are studied, and we choose a new high-precision nonlinear Calibration method to calibrate the system. Secondly we present a new method to calibrate the structured-light. This method is expediently operated and has high- precision.(3) In allusion to the peculiarity of the debris image, we present some methods to process the structured-light image. In the end we get the sub-pixel precision structured-light curve.(4) The three-dimension coordinates of discrete points on the structured-light curve were measured with the equation and the data acquired in before and displayed using the three-dimension plotting tool - OpenGl (Open Graphics Library)The key techniques used in this paper, such as the calibration technique, the image processing method do a meaningful groundwork for the next study of the project.
