With the increasingly development of science and technology, traditional measurement methods have been unable to meet the needs of people’s life and production, monocular vision measurement based on structured light because of its non-contact, fast measurement speed, high precision, it is taken more and more attention in recent years.Based on line structured measurement,this paper use monocular vision and passive scanning,which can more easily get three-dimensional information.the key technology to design the measurement system has three points: calibration system, line structure light stripe image preprocessing, line structured light stripe center extraction. Based on the summary and research of the previous research results, this paper using a camera and a line laser which are fixed, the object is placed on one-dimensional platform, moving the platform when the line laser light projected onto the surface structure, to achieve a three-dimensional surface of the object scanning.In this paper, the main work and innovation points are as follows:(1) To establish the mathematical model of line structured light sensor, analyzed the calibration of the line structured light visual sensor is introduced, using distance constraints and curve fitting technique to enhance the corner extraction precision based on the original algorithm, and through experimental verification.(2) To study the characteristics of the line structured light stripe image and analyze factors affecting the light of the image quality. For reflectance relatively large objects, this paper presents new denoising algorithms. In order to separate the object and the background, we use the maximum entropy image segmentation method, and the effect of comparative analysis with other commonly used methods.(3) To discuss the advantages and disadvantages of structured light strip center line extraction method. For irregular strip, this paper proposes a extraction method based on the direction of the center of gravity weighted field direction and comparative analysis with other methods in accuracy and speed. For regular strip, this paper proposes a sub-pixel center extraction method based on gray moment invariant.
