Wireless Identity Authentication System Based On 2D Barcode And Smart Phone

Identity authentication is the foundation of information security. Since ancient times, security is already an important issue of human society, and security system can not play its role in the security or protection effectively without a safe and reliable authentication. The traditional authentication technologies are mainly based on static password, dynamic password and biometric technology.This paper discusses the traditional identity authentication system, and proposes a new identity authentication system with high security and easy operation, which uses smart phone as the authentication equipment, and combined with 2D barcode and bluetooth technology.Then it researches the key technologies of this system, and finally proves its usability by a prototype system.The main content of this paper are as follows:First, this paper proposes a new type of authentication system, which uses smart phone as client device, and resolves the problem which user need to carry a specialized authentication device by using the smart phone's build-in Bluetooth, and avoid problems that authentication information may be intercepted via wireless by using 2d barcode to store authentication information and using optical camera to capture the barcode.Second, this system produces a method to generate 2d barcode on smart phone, and analyzes the system architectures and application features of symbian os and nokia s60 platform, then achieve the function of drawing 2d barcode on smart phone.Third, This papar propose a method of barcode recognition based on smart phone, which solved the problem in recognition caused by the blue and red stripes on smart phone screen, by using steps as averaging filter and ostu binary processing, and finally achieves the result that can recognize datamatrix barcodes on smart phone screens accurately.Last, this system also produces a method of the communication between smart phone and PC by Bluetooth which using SDP and RFComm protocol, and develops bluetooth communication software based on S60 smart phone and PC with Windows XP SP1 or later.
