The Research And Design Of Session Management In 3G PoC Service

PoC service is now being reserched by most telecommunication equipmentmanufactor and network operater in internal and abroad, and it is looked as one of thenine hot service by Mobile Multimedia Technology Alliance.The paper analyses theresearch progress of the 3G and PoC service first, and then gives a design andrealization of PoC service based IMS in 3G network.At last,the paper's descriptionemphasis on the design and realization of session management model.The PoC in thepaper can be used for WCDMA and TD-SCDMA networks, providing the groupcommunication based semiduplex. Session management is a important function of PoC server network element in PoCservice.The main function of session management is to setup a session in different case,maintain the session during the session is in progress,and release it when the session iscomplete.The paper studies in detail the working principium model of sessionmanagement, the process design,and the realization of the caller and callee function,andalso the billing function,signal tracing and fail monitoring function and performancestatistic function.
