With the foundation of more and more high-floors building, how to decrease the vibration when earthquake happening comes to a topic that men research. Civil engineering structural vibration was developed after traditional resisting wind and earthquake design methods had been established and a new developed branch of learning which researches structure vibration theory, method and operation. Structure vibration can be divided into passive control, initiative control and half-initiative control. They use non-load bearing control equipment to output force for decreasing vibration reaction of structure, and whether bringing these equipment into best play or not is the questions that we concern so much.In the dissertation, current home and abroad correlation territory situations are analyzed. After that be aimed at high building with podium vibration model, and on the base of analyzing its movement equation, fuzzy control algorithm was used to control and simulate high building model with 12 floors tower and 3 floors podium. The output force of the semi-active control equipment-MR damper is controlled concretely using fuzzy control strategy. As a branch of intellect control, fuzzy can bring skillful operator's subjective experience and intuition into control system, it analyses and synthesizes system from function and whole optimization. The dissertation also describes simulation result carefully, which include top floor displacement and velocity time's curve, maximal value and RMS value list, decreased amplitude value compared with non-control.After using fuzzy method to control the model, this dissertation tries to improve the fuzzy controller, that to automatically adjust three key factors to consist adjust factor fuzzy controller. We also compare the new controller's result. At last show the column picture under three conditions. As a result, simulation concerns many models and a lot of data and picture, for convenience, we use Matlab to make a GUI.The simulation result shows that fuzzy control doesn't depend on accurate model and its operation is easy, it can control MR damper effectively, decrease displacement and velocity. It supplies theory criteria for engineering practice, but also is a good reference for other methods.
