Structural vibration control is a new technique domain that relate to many subjects, structural vibration control can ease the reaction and the harm of structure availably under the dynamical functions such as breeze and earthquake etc, it raise the anti-vibration and anti-disaster ability of structure, it is a valid measure to reduce the disaster. Structural vibration control have been researched for 30 years, there are several kinds of methods of structural control: foundation separates the earthquake, passive control, active control, semi-active control and intelligent control. The traditional structural vibration control methods usually request to build up the precision structure model, but the accurate model of some engineering structure is difficult to get, furthermore, there also exist a lot of uncertain factors in the system. Fuzzy control is a kind of control theory found on fuzzy muster theory, fuzzy language and fuzzy logic consequence. Fuzzy control have already become a kind of important and valid intelligent control method for it's special advantage.Structural vibration control is researched in this paper with semi-active control and fuzzy control theories, it introduce the development and present condition of fuzzy control and it's basic theories advantage, introduce the general development situation and mechanics characteristics of MR and semi-active arithmetic. It establish the object model and control rule with analysis of structure, adopt the fuzzy control strategy combine the semi-active control calculate the output of MR. At last, take a three stories building for example, analyze the control effect under the disturb of El Centro earthquake wave. Through comparing the effect of fuzzy control, LQR control and non-control, we can draw a conclusion that fuzzy control combine with semi-active control can improve the property of system greatly. It is shown that the method of semi-active control based on fuzzy control is promising in engineering applications.
