Research Of Clutch Test-bed Fault Diagnosis And The Tested Clutch Performance Analysis Expert System

Motorcycle clutch is an important component of modern sit-style motorcycles and has the function of the general automotive clutch and gear equipment. To a larger extent, it determines the working performance of the motorcycle transmission system. The CVT test-bed can understand more roundly and accurately the working characteristics and related properties of the CVT. As a result, it is very important to remove the fault of the test-bed and to analyze the performance of the tested to motorcycle researchers and motorcycle manufacturers.The current users urgently need implement fault diagnosis of the test-bed and analyze the performance of the tested in order to discover hidden danger timely, reduce accident losses, lower maintenance costs and enhance safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness of the test-bed. After detailed analyzing, the user needs an expert suggestion and an expert system that should be easy to use, to understand and diagnose accurately and timely is researched and tried to develop.In this paper (the study of fault diagnosis system), basic concept of expert system such as definition, structure and development environment are be introduced firstly. Then the paper details the knowledge, knowledge expression, knowledge acquisition and reasoning mechanisms of expert system.Through inquiry information and expert's experience, the test-bed fault diagnosis adopt frame knowledge expression and the combination of fault tree analysis and rule analysis as diagnostic methods and use both forward and back mixed reasoning control mechanisms. In addition, the tested clutch performance analysis expert system put forward rule knowledge expression and forward reasoning mechanisms.Finally, this paper tells about the design of this expert system and the process ofits implementation. It focuses on the basic structure of the system and the analysis process of the problems in the system as well. Then the focus shifts to the explanation of the each function of every mode especially the implementation of the data taken and the diagnosis of the process. And at last, it tells us the testing methods about the adoption of the system development and the steps in this course.
