Along with communications network development and user request enhancement, In the microwave communication PDH system is substituted by the SDH system gradually. The SDH System was widely applied by its big capacity, good transmission performance, standard connection, convenient network nimble, powerful manage and so on. But in certain transmission situations, capacity is not big enough, the SDH superiority is unable to display. On the contrary, the PDH system, because its capacity is moderate, the disposition is flexible, the cost is inexpensive and the function is complete, has the certain superiority in such situations.The thesis embarks from the reality, propose and design one kind multi- services transmission system based on PDH digital microwave communication. The system can provide 16 channels E1 signal's transparent transmission and one 10Mbps ethernet channel simultaneously. The main function was realized by the FPGA chip. This solution enhanced the commercial value of the PDH transmits equipment.In the thesis, firstly introduces the digital microwave communication system, the digital multiple connection principle, the Ethernet theory and the Ethernet over the SDH as well as the related knowledge were introduced. Then represent this system plan in detail. Finally the system hardware and the FPAG were simulated specially, the results were given.
