MDA(Model Driven Architecture) is created by OMG(Object Management Group). It builds the revolutionary method of the enterprise level architecture and shifts the emphases of the application development to a higher abstract level--model(metadata) according to code. Thus it reduces the cost of development and management and enhances interaction among systems. MDA is the hot topic of information technology field at present. The appearance of web service has become important for enterprise business application. The hosts can make use of web services through other mutual-related application procedure or the commercial business web servers on Internet. At present, the field development tendency is the acceleration to discovery and provide these web services. The purpose of the thesis is seeking an effective, low-cost model integration method which can be managed easily. Firstly, research is carried out systematically based on the structure of MDA,MOF(Meta-Object Facility),UML(Unified Modeling Language),meta-model based on MOF to each kind of information deriving from XMI(XML Metadata Interchange) mapping, CWM(Common Warehouse Meta-model) and other basic theories of MDA. It analyses model transformation definition rules and its characteristics. Secondly, in this thesis, overall structure analysis of web service is researched. Model integration method is educed, which comes from MDA and web service unify, meanwhile we get a conclusion that the method is superior by analyzing actual example. At present, the union of MDA and web service is not certainly perfect. It also has many directions worth to be studied. Finally, a proposes is raised that the metadata repository architecture as well as the co-related web services could be published on the web and the direction is indicated for the later research.
