The human pay continuously attention to the survival environment and at present alreadyhas owned many environmental monitoring methods. For a long time, how to deal with thedata transmission in the environmental monitoring system distributed in each environmentchecking point;is a difficult problem. There are some problems in traditional communications,e. g. huge investigation of construction, high operation expense and the difficulties in themaintaining and expansion. But the present GPRS network is precisely one kind of datatransmission with the advantages of high speed, broad scope, on-line, and stable. In view ofthese questions, this article designed one kind ,,of environmental protection networkinformation system to carry on the environment real-time monitoring.According to the existing monitor network situation, this article has designed and studiedthe realization plan based on the GPRS environmental protection network information system.The correspondence was realized by the relation between the Internet and the GPRS netwhich are mainly connected with the monitoring center and gathering terminal. Thisinformation system has included the control center system, the transmission system, thedatabase system, the information distribution system, and from these systems, datatransmission, memory and processing can be realized. The data were transmitted to the GPRS'through GPRS Modem by the gathering terminal. This system uses GPRS MODEM whichhas embedded integrity TCP/IP protocol and provides the standard RS-232 serial interface, sothe users can complete the module operation with AT command through the serial interface.In view of communications used in this article, we have studied the related GPRScorrespondence protocol.Adopting the powerful C++ Builder in monitoring center, we mainly use the ServerSocket connected by the Socket, which is responsible for managing the server, carrying on thedata the transmission and doing the preliminary design to monitor software. Throughdebugging this system, the data receiving and dispatching were realized immediately,achieving the anticipated target and proving the feasibility of this system.
