The Grid Resource Management Model Based On P2P Technology

As a latest emerging network infrastructure, Grid is the key technology of the new generation of the Internet. Along with the huge improvement and rapid progress of computer performance and network communicating technology, the development of application demands toward large-scale high-performance, diversity and multi-function needs to connect the various high-performance computing resources, storage, data and other specific resources, which are geographically distributed and heterogeneous, via high speed network to establish collaborate high-performance computing and solve huge application problems cooperatively, hence the name wide-area high-performance meta computing technology, Grid Computing Technology as well. One of the important issues of Grid Computing is a Resource-related one. In comparing several typical grid resource management models (Hierarchical Model, Abstract Owner Model, Computational Market/Economy Model), the author presented a grid resource management model based on P2P technology. Its main idea is : the Grid management the resources in distributed model. When the resource users to make requests for resources will be broadcasting to the network. Peer-to-Peer systems have unexampled superiority to Client/Server networks on search technology. A high efficient search scheme for grid resource with locality principle is designed, whose name is multi-responders-domain, MRD as shortening. Owing to the information exploding, searching the internet information with currently search technology, flooding or FloodNet as an example, will receive increasingly manifold results, which are most invalidation. Search efficiency is the ratio of the number of responders and of search messages, and it is basic criterion for evaluating search technology.
