The parameters-automatic-measurement system of the quarter infrared optic-electronic detector is designed in this paper. Based on the application of the quarter infrared optic-electronic detector, the principle of the detector is discussed. The measurement principle and methods are researched. The concepts of automatic measurement system and virtual instrument are employed to design the system. These concepts shorten the period of research and development. In the third chapter of the paper, several key technologies of laser are discussed, and the Q-switched diode pumped solid state laser is designed. An 20 nanosecond laser pulse is generated by Gr:YAG crystal, which is plugged in laser cavity as a Q-switch. The light delivery system is designed to spit the laser beam into two beams. The parameters measurement methods and test circuits are analyzed. The low-noise preamplifier and the signal channel switch board are mainly introduced in details. The skills of low noise circuit design are discussed. The concept of virtual instrument is introduced. The flow charts of the software are presented. Mainly, the problems of the communication of serial port, GPIB bus and ISA bus are solved in this chapter. The parameters automatic measurement system can precisely test the dark current, junction capacitance, noise equivalent power, sensitivity, equality of sensitivity and crosstalk of the four sub-units of detector. Finally, the measurement result of certain detector is presented and discussed.
