The measuring technology based on photoelectric image refers to a measuring method which take object images as detection targets or carriers for information transmission. after analysing them and fetching helpful information from them, people could obtain expectative measuring data. With its features of high accuracy and high quantity of information, this technology has been widely used in space probe, remote sensing, biomedicine and industrial inspection, etc.The infrared imaging system is independent of lighting conditions, as an important application, the infrared imaging system expands human eye's visual range to infrared band and greatly raises human night vision. This paper analyses the physical significances and mathematical deduction process of four key performance parameters in infrared imaging system evaluation: Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) , Signal Transfer Function (SiTF) , Minimum Resolvable Temperature Difference (MRTD) and Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) , and offers a practical testing process. Besides, based on the the parameters measuring methods, we have developed a software to complete the actual measurement, and the software interfaces and measure result would be shown in this paper.The paper introduces the definition of the non-uniformity of infrared focal plane and frequently-used calibration methods, upon that, we designed four kinds of calibration software and testify them with actual infrared images, the paper also gives a quantitative analysis to the non-uniformity of the images.Moreover, according to the photoelectric image measuring theory, which was used in high accuracy static parameter image measuring system, this paper has completed a in-depth study of relative issues such as noise reduction, image enhancement and image segmentation. The operation interface of the measuring software has been developed, and a calibration experiment has been set up to calibrate the measuring result.
