The rapid development of economy leads to the improvement of human life level and the high quality of life. Science and Technology are involved in our daily life increasingly. the infrared detector is technology product that is known well. The early stages of infrared detectors,it is mainly used in the military field, and nowadays appears in our lives frequently. At present,the mostly research institutions have got involved in research of infrared detectors, such as major universities and research institutes. The main research area is the basic performance infrared detectors, which provides with a higher quality of infrared detectors for us.The paper sets target as creating optical performance test system of infrared detector. The content of the paper starts with the overall design of the test system and extends to experimental equipment and measurement solutions.At the same time, the test system is set up which can measures dark current, quantum efficiency, the curve between wavelength dependence and quantum efficiency, the characteristics of frequency response.while the measured values were compared with the theoretical value in this paper. The paper also covers a variety of the new infrared detector test system,for example, a design about the radio and television. The data provides with infrared detector directly for us. So we have more basis and standard to choose detector.
