Research And Implementation Of The Reusable Report Processing Platform

Report is a very important component of all kinds of Information System, the function of report is to convert the primal data produced in product management activities and business activities into helpful information, and helps the managers make correct decisions. At present, report processing is a very important part of Management Information System or complicated Enterprise Resource Planning system, but it is a weak part of these systems. To get rid of the weakness of report processing system, people developed many report processing patterns,such as: dynamic report processing, intelligent report processing, flexible report processing and report processing based on software reused, but none of them can overcome the reprodued work in system developing, i.e. all of them are not reusable software system. This paper finds another way to rosolve the problem, bring forward the concept of reusable universal report processing system, want to construct the reusable universal report processing platform and resolve the problem thoroughly. The report processing platform can be developed once and will be used for all database system needn't any change, it have prodigious availability. This paper researches the inevitable key problems in report processing firstly and then presents corresponding resolvent. Later, the paper researches the reusability of report processing and use the measure of 'mapping' to rosolve the difficulties in the reality of system.Finally, makes out a real report system and acquires fine result.
