The Application Of Domino R6 In Office Automation System

As the development of computer and the technology of internet, the design of Office Automation system have grately improved. For the automation of work-flow and information management between divisons in enterprises, I develop, design and achieve an Office Automation sysyem for the application in small and mid-sized enterprises with the powerful Domino R6, which does not only improve efficiecy,realize non-paper Office,but also promote the development of Office mode from tradition to normalization,complexity and science.This thesis solves the problems of development and Application based on B/S mode Application system under Domino R6 system, with integration of grouping technology and Web-tech by information-management .The system solves the collection of new-generation of Office-automation.With Domino Design, the system lowers the development cost and lifts the supporting capability of information-management, with B/S mode, maintainence is saved with promising application prospect.Chapter 1 is the Review. In Section 1, it exposes the development progress and today's application about the Office Automation System. In Section 2 ,it intruduccs the virtues of Office Automation System achieved by Domino R6. Section 3 focuses on other tech on Office Automation System based on advanced B/S model,it specifies the tech of J2EE+XML and .net,their special features ect.Chapter 2 details the basic conceptions of Office Automation system; it specifies the modle and features of Office Automation system ased on Domino R6. It details the comparative applications between traditional office modle and modern office modle.Chapter 3 explains the design requirement of Office Automation system; the function design parts describe the functions such as the Office file management, Office work management, Common information management, and personal work management, System management etc. Then the database structure based on the function and modules are designed.Chapter 4 describes the realization process of Office Automation system based on Domino R6.Section 1 focuses on the choice of the development tool and background web server.Section 2 focuses on the realization process of the application server and explains how to use the package supplied by Domino to realize the application by sub form and Lotus Script lauguage.In the meantime, it explains the web loading path to the Office Automation system.Chapter 5 summarize the application experience of the management software first, then analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of the Office Automation system; finally, it gives a vista to the Office Automation system.
