Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition,J2EE,a distributed server application development environment,provides a component-based multilayer application system architecture centering on server and a safe platform with high portability and compatibility. The Web application based on this platform also has good portability and extensibility, so get more and more attention and acception from many Web Application Developers. Using both J2EE Platform and Web technologies to develope Enterprise Web Application has become popular.Bioinformatics is a rising front edge subject which span and merge the two activest fields of the world technologies.lt use the method of computing and analysis to solve Biologic problem. The Bioinformatics Platform is a synthetic platform which had the functions of bioinformatics arithmetic integration,bioinformatics information publication and lab management.This paper will firstly state the correlative technologies about building the web Application system based on J2EE,then will describe how to build a bioinformatics with the technologies stated before from the view of a software developer.After then this pager will start with the requirement analysis and introduce the system architecture,design patterns,implementation detail and the key technologies.I hope this paper can has use for reference to the development of this kind of bioinformatics platform.
