The purpose of this thesis is to put forward a novel 155MHz pre-amplifier for FTTH. The full flow has been completed, including circuit design, layout and parasitic parameter extracting.This design is a transimpedance amplifier and it is constructed following the difference rule. Simulation result shows this amplifier has many virtue which is important to a good optoelectronic receiver, such as auto gain control, wide dynamic range, low noise.
