With the constant development of Internet technology, the application of Web is increasingly in hot demand, used in wider fields. But then the printing technology based on Web is relatively backward, which makes the exploration of Web inconvenient, and hinders the industrial informalization. The web application is thin client application, can't manipulate client's equipment. The print of web application have many problems,so need a good technique schema to solve this problems.Appearing in the early 1990s, component technology is the one which has been developed accompanying Internet and face the objects. Namely, with some means of programming, it can envelop the details which are concerned about by people, and can't be directly operated by the final users. Meanwhile, it can bring different kinds of professional logic rule to reality. And it can be used to deal with the details of user's inner operation. Then it even can completely display the safety mechanism and object mechanism. Thanks to so many advantages, therefore, EJB component technology has been developed very fast.In the thesis, firstly, it introduces the concepts on the basis of the exploiting technology of components. In addition, it discusses in which condition the technology is produced, and compares the three main models at present. Secondly, it introduces the structure of J2EE system and explains the structure of J2EE platform, the chief technology included in J2EE and the principal advantages of J2EE. Furthermore, it probes into EJB, the core component technology of J2EE and introduces how it is formed, how the EJB system is divided, how EJB is classified and used, how it is arranged and what merits the EJB system has as well as how EJB technology has been developed lately, etc.Thirdly, it analyses some mature schemes about Web printing, and compares its advantages with disadvantages. Moreover, the need of Web printing in social insurance system has been detailedly investigated, analysed and summarized. Relied on these work, the solution plan is chosen; EJB is designed and the components used in Web printing are assembled. Then it can be applied in the social insurance system and Medical Insurance of Electricity Project.Last, it summarizes the main work and mentions the weakness in the research and the prospects of the future research.
