With the development of social insurance information market, developing of Social Insurance Management Information System Core Platform (SIMISCP) become the hot field of research. At the same time, network technology and component based software development technology get more mature day by day, which is the base of Core Platform.This paper introduces CORBA component based Reconfigurable Social Insurance Core Platform (RSICP). Mainly it works over application of CORBA component technology in RSICP. RSICP has the mix three-tie C/S and B/S architecture. The three-tie C/S mode application services to client of social insurance organs. They can configure software system corresponding to their own demand. The B/S mode is to web client. Firstly this paper analyses original Social Insurance System of province, base this it designs function framework of Core Platform and implement the subsystem of base pay for insurance management. At first, it gets the business logic component frame of system via UML modeling. Afterward CORBA middleware is introduced as a software bus to develop components of pay for insurance management system , which composes the business logic component tie. At last the client service application is developed with Java. RSICP is quite configurable, extendable and independent of Operation System. RSICP can feedback speedily to diverse society market that changed with society security system.
