Research Automatically Produce And Exchange EBOM In PLM

EBOM (Engineering Bill of Material)'s generation and exchange is one of the important functions of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).This article describes a systematic scheme that can solve the requirement. At the same time, it sets up the baseline for enterprises to implement PLM system thereafter.It includes:1) Data excavation model, namely CAD document-object-oriented level-database level excavation model. Unifying Applet technology, it can implement EBOM information automatic generation under interface mode.2) Isomerism data exchange model. Taking XML (extensible Markup Language) document as middle document, it can exchange EBOM information into other format document for user's browsing.3) Software structure and realization frame of EBOM generation and exchange. Further works:1) EBOM's generation under the parallel system.2) Data excavation from 3D CAD software.3) System data standardization.
