Wide-band receiving plays a critical role for quick reconnaissance, discovering, panoramic supervising and control of HF signals. The all-in-one HF wide-band intercepting and locating system provides a perfect solution for intercepting and capturing complicated signals such as hopping frequency signals, spread spectrum signals, etc. The design and the development of such a system not only fill a blank in our country but also represent international most advanced level. This paper introduces some key technologies (parallel DSP processing) of the HF wide-band intercepting and locating all-in-one system, which will be described as following.The thesis introduces several key parallel processing problems, the topology architecture of parallel DSP processing system, interconnection fashion, and high speed data channels, which providing theoretic foundation for developing high efficiency parallel DSP processing module.For the channelization processing, the multirate filter algorithm is studied and analyzed. Based on the computation and the memory of algorithm, we also fished out a realized method to divide the parallel DSP processing algorithm into some parts.Based on the computation and the memory of the partitioning scheme of the algorithm, the hardware and the hardware topology of a parallel DSP processing module have been determined. We developed the VXI bus interface with master controller and a parallel DSP processing module.The design, tools and method of software for the parallel DSP system are studied in detail. Based on analyzing of different application of multirate filter algorithm on parallel DSP module, the algorithm was efficiently and effectively realized by two ADSP21060 chips.
