The Research And Practice Of Digital Watermarking System In Medical Image

As the beginning of the paper, the characteristics, classifications and applications of digital watermark techniques in the information hiding field are briefly introduced from the point of view of information protection. Then the fragile watermark for image authentication is analyzed, and its characteristics, its requirements and its classical algorithms are also given.A novel digital watermarking algorithm based on lifting integer DWT and a novel digital watermarking algorithm based on random matrix are proposed in this paper. The two proposed algorithms are of rather practical use and can be applied to medical image. Experiment results show that watermarked images obtained have good subjective quality and tampered areas could be located precisely.Also, the author has described an encoder based on ROI (Region Of Interest) and PIT (Progressive Image Transmission, PIT), by which a more efficient medical image transmission encoder can be achieved. Finally, a novel digital watermarking system based on ROI and PIT is presented , which can not only transmit medical image Progressively ,but also realize medical image authentication.
