Real-time monitoring is the most concern when oil and gas gathering and transportation in oilfield exploitation. It attracts our concerns both at home and abroad. The important about the oil can or can't be exploited without a hitch is how to find the wells parked and oil stolen timely. Now, when most oil field's monitoring system operate in the actual, such problem can happen. It is difficult to write transmission cable, it is unable to find out the problem on time, electromagnetic interference is strong and monitoring range is small. This paper designs a wireless sensor node in oilfield based on wireless sensor network technology and STM32W108 chip in order to solve the problems of cable transmission.First, this paper gives the overall scheme design according to the specific requirements of oil field work. Using modularizing design thought, system is divided into six modules. The most important of them are processor module, wireless and sensor module.Secondly, this paper tells us how to design and implementation each module respectively. To choice processor module: Processor uses STM32W108 which builds in ARM Cortex-M3 microprocessors. It is a 32-bit ARM kernel, uses high Thumb 2 instruction set. STM32W108's characteristic is low power consumption, high performance and high memory utilization. To choose wireless communications equipment: Data transmission between the sensor node and coordinator uses wireless rf module STM32W108 whose core chip is ARM Cortex-M3 and sending data to monitor system uses MC35i GPRS module. The sensor node's design and implementation: using temperature sensor DS18B20 to collect oil pipeline's temperature around check valve. Power management's chip TPS73250DBVT supplies power for temperature sensor DS18B20.Finally, this paper designs the software of wireless sensor node , especially the temperature sensor program and the sending and receiving data method of the node. Debug sensor node and obtain the result.
