In recent years, Tianjin Port has developed at high speed. Bulk cargo, coal and container terminal's throughput have entered into a steady growth. In the construction of crude oil wharf engineering, control system plays a very important role in the construction, enhances the technology content of the whole crude oil handling system and further improves the degree of automation, which can achieve the control and management integration, realize the production process control and real-time monitoring, realize optimum control, find relative problems in time, clear the trouble, realize production data statistics and the conditions show, improve work efficiency considerably, lay a solid foundation for efficiently accomplishing production operation. The control system is scalability, with its future development, which can expand system functions.According to the Tianjin Port 300,000 tons crude oil wharf long distance pipeline, equipment quantity, widespread distribution, equipment maintenance problems and other characteristics, the control system uses the Interbus bus to the completion of the pipeline monitoring. The control system uses a centralized control mode, give full consideration to the rational design and standardization, easy operation and simple maintenance. Ensuring the system is advanced, reliable, under the premise of compatibility, to achieve the most economical goals.InTianjin Port 300, 000 tons crude oil wharf engineering background, this paper mainly explains the crude oil wharf control system's basic structure, operation methods, the function and application of the control system in the crude oil wharf construction project. Main tasks are as follows:1. The paper summarizes the engineering backgrounds and engineering conditions of the Tianjin Port 300,000 tons crude oil wharf loading and unloading engineering project, declares the complexity of the control system structure and the necessity of the application.2. Gives the 30 million tons in Tianjin Port crude oil terminal control system operating conditions and treatment options, the number of devices on the pipeline project, widely distributed, distance, field operations, and many poor environment, adopting improved to adapt to technical requirements of the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control system solutions.3.
