In this paper, the writer will use the theory of media editing and political communication.At the same time,it will use the method of case studies and literature research ,then analyze the content and form of the magazine DUSHU to explore the turning.Different from studying the various types of research articles or columns in the past , Its novelty lies in the fact that from a macro perspective of the editorial policy of turning .Further explore how to achieve the accuracy of editorial policyFirstly, the article discusses the background, significance, research theory and methods of this subject. Then combine the content and relevant information, it introduce the evolution of the magazine from 1979 to 2007.It points out experienced three different periods, DUSHU has changed the editorial principle in essence. The writer analyzed the reasons of the turning from the perspective of macro-and micro.Third, it explored and summary the result of turning from the above information, which propose a new perspective. That is, the uniqueness of DUSHU lies in its academic and political interaction. On the one hand, it uses the academic theory to Shape the academic space. The book has become a medium, which emphasized the practical and political concern. At the meantime, the achievement of academic and political interaction promotes the intellectuals to participate in discussion of the political issue.Finally, the writer propose how to choose the correct editorial policy to develop the magazine. It not only accurately positions the readers and concise the content of the magazine, but also grasps the graphic patterns, integrates the publicity and business so as to promote the development of publications.
