The 1553 bus protocol is used as a vehicle for data and information communication between different systems. It is widely employed in advanced weapon systems for reliability and flexibility, especially in military avionics and aerospace systems. Recently suitable software for this protocol is available for sale. They mainly focus on test and simulate data bus,particularly real-time detecting.This paper details the data configuration and analysis subsystem based on 1553 bus protocol. The subsystem creates and maintains Interface Control Document Database. Data acquisition and post management function are developed, in order to reappear the flying circumstances and to track errors.In this subsystem, Client/Server architecture is taken into consideration, so that the system can be used by multi-customers and multi-types of air crafts. After description and analysis of the protocol, Interface Control Documents from different air crafts are collected into uniform configuration or analysis interface. Then they are processed and stored separately into dynamic database. Customize data collection in order to get proper message block and message data. Bus data documents are saved by memory mapping and analyzed with Interface Control Document database. In this way, even in heavy data-processing situation fast response speed and information accuracy are ensured. The system supports multi-granularity and multi-mode data analyzing, it can display the result in the graph. Auto-generated configuration files are used to define Interface Control Documents. These files are usefulness for bus programming.Finally, the data configuration and analysis subsystem is developed. It is common software used for post management of flight data in ground mode. It provides ground crew the change of bus data from one condition to another in graphics mode. And it provides flight personnel historical air data. Also it can help catch exceptions and track errors.
