The civil air-defense works (CADW) is a very important national defense infrastructure for securing smooth commands and protecting people's lives at war time. The automatic system applied in the civil air-defense works is the fundamental part to guarantee construction's stable operation. Currently, the automatization and informatization level of the electric automatization system of our country's civil air-defense works are still not high. Under such background, it is important to build up electric automatization model of civil air-defense works with fieldbus technology for popularizing the fieldbus technology in the CADW.In order to promote the application of PROFIBUS tech, which has lots of advantages, in the electric automatization system of civil air-defense works, this thesis puts forward a kind of network model, which applies PROFIBUS-DP as sublayer network and is suitable for civil air-defense works, considering the features and practical situation of the construction's electrical system. To analyze the timeliness of PROFIBUS system of civil air-defense works, PROFIBUS-DP network model and the MAC frame transmission time model are built up, and the time consumed in one complete communication process of civil air-defense works subsystem is computed. To realize the function for processing discrete magnitude and analog signal of PROFIBUS of civil air-defense works, by taking the information type and quantity transmitted within the civil air-defense works into consideration, and with the guidance of modular design concept, a series of PROFIBUS-DP slaves are designed with universal interface and equipped with MCU (Micro Controller Unit) C8051F023 and PROFIBUS SPC3 (SIEMENS PROFIBUS CONTROLER3) as its core. Besides, the designs of software and hardware for digital input/output node, analog input/output node, and electric relay output node are completed, and PROFIBUS input/output characteristic parameters are provided. PCs equipped with Siemens CCU CP5611 as PROFIBUS-DP Host Station are connected with PROFIBUS-DP to form networks to carry out communication adjustment. Then, using diagnostic and analytical software SIEMENS Amprolyzer, the communication timeliness of the system is evaluated through online supervisory and analysis on messages transmitted. To realize the Information Integration of Supervisory system of civil air-defense works, models of each subsystem of the construction are built up to be connected with the Supervisory Host Station, which is equipped with OPC as its server, using the software SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) RSView32. Then the PROFIBUS-DP input/output data is read. In this way, operation conditions of the civil air-defense construction can be in Supervisory and control.The system designed in this thesis has already been tested and adjusted, and it runs with a stable performance. The design of the hardware's structure of the PROFIBUS-DP slaves is qualified and the functions of its software are powerful to meet the controlling requirement of the civil air-defense construction. What's more, it has very high practical reference value for popularizing the application of PROFIBUS technology in the electric system of the civil air-defense works.
