Recently, the living concept of livability and low-carbon has been widely accepted, so intellective communities have caught more and more attention for the charecters of safty, confort, resources economizing and high efficiency. In the control system of intellective communities, the water supply system is one of the most impotant subsystems. It is effective that the rational water-supplying mode and the proper method of control are chosen. They can improve the quality of water supply, conserve energy, integrate the intellective management and then promote the improvement of the recident quality.This article takes one project as background, which is SMEs Technological Innovation Fund Projects in Heilongjiang. It studies some correlative theories on water supply, and designs the energy-saving monitoring device that the GPRS module is used in it for water supply.Variable speed-frequency water supply system is the most popular in communities. Firstly, the energy-saving principle of variable speed-frequency water supply system is explained. And then, the article points that when the pump pressure accord with the pipe pressure characteristic curve, the water supply can steadily supply water and save the most energy.According to the energy-saving princeple of variable speed-frequency water supply system, this article improves the mode of water supply with the time-sharing variable pressure, and describes a strategy by which the variable-pressure water supply system is controlled on basis of forecast of hourly water consumption. For meeting the engineering need, this article applys analysis of time series to forecast the hourly water consumption, and the settings of the pump output pressure is dynamic according to the water supply forecastion.This article adopts a strategy by which we can dentify the model and adjust the PID parameter based on genetic algorithms. The effectiveness of the strategy is demonstrated by simulation that this method can improve response speed, reduce paranormal value, and make the system have well dynamic performance, by comparing step response method in model-dentify and Z-N method in adjusting the PID parameter.Finally the engineering application and design is studied. Through software and hardware design, scheme of water supply monitoring system based on GPRS and PLC is given. At the same time, this article develops the monitoring software and the device, and then accomplishs the network connection between monitoring center and energy-saving device.
