The parameter of the mass,center of mass and rotational inertia of complexity of aircraft is important to design and manufacture, experiment. Due to the complexity of aircraft components such as structural complexity, and the separation of various types of control components, and the uneven weight distribution, using the theoretical methods we can obtain the mass and moment of inertia, but the accuracy of these parameters is very low. It is difficult to meet the requirements of technical indicators. Therefore, we must make use of test equipment to obtain the mass characteristics of complex components in the actual test. Here we designed a test system to measure the mass characteristics of complex components.In this paper, we design two test platforms. One is the center of mass testing system , the other is the moment of inertia testing system. A components localizer and standard component models were designed for the precise test of components mass and its center. We use high-precision weighing sensor to output voltage signals, and then make PCI-1716 collect the sensor signals and transfer them to the computer, finally calculate the position of the center of mass. At the same time, we make use of the I/O function in PCI-1716 card, realizing the control of the motor and the magnetic suspension equipment. A torsion framework based on magnetic bearings was constructed for the high-precision test of components moment of inertia. Optical encoder collects the torsion period signals and these signals are sent to the computer and the computer calculates the acquisition cycle as well as the torsion pendulum the rate of its decay curve of torsion pendulum signals, finally calculates the moment of inertia. The paper also elaborates software design about data acquiring and processing that needs pay attention to. Based on virtual Instrument technology in the software system, we operate the system easily and well-maintained, and realize the all needed functions.At last, the research analyzes and calculates the factors which cause the measurement errors of the center of mass and mass , partiality,and demarcate load cell, component inertia.Based on the period repetitive experiment and instrument testint experiment, it is concluded that the comparative experiment for system is good and this system measuring accuracy is under 1%, and the system meets the requirements.
