With the development of the military information, information security becomes a severe problem when many secret documents transmit through the Internet, which can't be solved only by digital signature. Online handwritten signature verification, as an important branch of biometrics, is hotspot in the biometrics field because it has been a human biological feature and been widely accepted and applied and is more difficult imitated than other personal physical characteristics. To address the deficiencies in the military electronic document security authentication, the thesis proposes an authentication scheme based on the handwritten signature. The main purpose of this dissertation is to research the technology of handwritten signature verification. The research includes following parts:(1) An authentication scheme based on the handwritten signature is proposed. The scheme combines the online handwritten signature and the digital signature to carry out identity authentication, which can effectively resist the potential attacks during the authentication, and in the meantime, ensures secure communication by making use of the information hiding technology so as to guarantee the electronic document security.(2) An improved Dynamic Time Warping algorithm for handwritten signature is proposed by increasing the factor of feature-point stability. The improved DTW algorithm can reduce the differences of local inconsistency for handwritten signature verification, which can improve the efficiency of handwritten signature verification.(3) A new method for handwritten signature verification is proposed by using Case-Based Reasoning. Some problems are caused by the improved DTW algorithm for handwritten signature which only using the detail features and ignoring some important parameter characteristics. To solve the problems, the new method based on CBR which using the details features and important parameter characteristics is designed. So the new method can reduce errors of handwritten signature certification and improve the efficiency of handwritten signature verification.(4) The military electronic document security system based on handwritten signature is designed and finished. The main classes and Web Services interface of the system are also described.
