Research On Interpersonal Communication Of QQ And Its Influence

Along with the expansion of the China's internet coverage in recent years, many interpersonal communication modes in the internet, represented by QQ, have entered people's lives. QQ not only created a new mode of interpersonal communication, but also exerted some influences on interpersonal communication in real life and communication theories.To research influences on interpersonal communication in real life, this paper uses a combination way of questionnaire survey and case interviews, and undertakes specific description and analysis of the influence by choosing interviewees from QQ users in Shenyang. The impact on communication theories can be seen in communication situations, opinion leaders, containers these three classical communication theories.From the survey, QQ's influences on interpersonal communication in reality are mainly shown in the following four aspects:(1) Communication via QQ has broadened the range of interpersonal communication. Although the communication via QQ often occurs between acquaintances, the interpersonal communication on the networks has started transfer from the virtual to the real world, which is mainly supported by QQ users'participating in activities organized both in the internet and in real life.(2) Communication via QQ played a less important role in improving the interpersonal communication frequency between acquaintances in real life.(3) Most people select QQ as the method of interpersonal communication because it is simple and convenient. In the meanwhile, it also can avoid the embarrassment when people who are not familiar with each other talk face to face. One of the most important reasons that people prefer this kind of communication is that QQ has its own unique style compared with others.(4) QQ does have certain influence on the individual of interpersonal communication, but it is not remarkable. Compared with cautious relationship in reality, people prefer to show themselves as they are or to present part of their true personalities when they communicate with their internet friends or strangers. No matter what differences between the interpersonal communication via QQ and in real life, QQ's interpersonal communication exists relatively to the real one, and it is a combination of both virtual and real interpersonal communication. No matter how these two ways combine with each other, there is one thing we can know. That is the interpersonal communication in virtual world is exerting influence on the real one, and they will eventually become another traditional communication mode as a whole in the future.
