Interpersonal Communication Characteristics Of Cyber Gaming And Its Influence On Adolescent Social Interaction

Interpersonal communication is a significant consisting part of history of human communication,on which every individual lives in social life.In recent years,cyber games have been experiencing rapid development,making itself as the most important part of life for adolescents.They have made great influence on people's life and the whole society.Cyber games have become a popular culture and a novel form of interpersonal communication.As a sophisticated cyber game player,the author noticed the powerful interpersonal communication trends imbedded network gaming.Through this study,the characteristics of this new kind of interpersonal communication and its influence on participants.This study is aimed to deepen the interpersonal communication research on cyber games.Literature review,depth interviews,comprising analysis,participating and observation were applied in this study.The thesis is divided into four sections.Firstly,related concepts of cyber games and interpersonal communications were summarized to limit the research width of this study,in order to point out the significance of online gaming interpersonal communication.Secondly,the history of human communication was summarized with different features in different times.Based on thorough understanding of subjects,the modes of online gaming communication were concluded,with properties of network game communications.The third section studied the influence of interpersonal communications of cyber gaming on adolescents.Finally,some results were concluded with further problems raised.
