| Low-voltage Line Carrier(L-PLC) Communications makes analog or digital signals modulated and transports them into the voltage power line (380/220V Subscriber Line). L-PLC, which will create great economic and social benefits, can provide users with Internet access, home local area network, remote monitoring of power system, remote meter reading, intelligent home applications and so on. With this technology, we can save much network construction cost and simplify the communication networks, which makes network emplacement fast and be not destroyed easily.In this paper a modem based on DSP for L-PLC (Low voltage power line communication) is designed. Firstly, the basic principle and characteristics of the PSD relative judgment demodulation algorithm which can suppress the narrow-band pulse interference and multipart interference are discussed. Then, the hardware circuits of design with TMS320F2812 as core are introduced in detail. Finally, the software of modulation-demodulation and effective interleaving and synchronization techniques are described. The design has a simple structure and satisfied characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, accurate measurement, and high reliability. |
